About Me
Computer Science Engineer (UTPL). I work on backend, cloud infrastructure and cost optimization. My day-to-day is code, deployment and solving technical problems — not pure management.
I currently lead the IT department at One Marketing Group, where I design and maintain multi-account cloud architectures on AWS and OCI, automate CI/CD pipelines, and optimize operating costs with a FinOps mindset.
I work with Python/Django, PostgreSQL, Cloudflare Edge and native Linux. My approach: decoupled, stateless architectures with minimal latency and Zero-Trust security by design.

OMG — Migration to Modern Static Stack
Led the transition of the OMG ecosystem from a legacy visual-builder infrastructure to a modern, static, decoupled stack: Astro 6 as SSG, Cloudflare (Workers, R2, Edge) as distribution layer, WordPress as headless CMS via GraphQL. Result: 60% load time reduction, simplified deploy pipeline, and full content sovereignty.
Directorio Educativo Ecuador
Web application to search and filter primary and secondary educational institutions in Ecuador by province, canton, educational level, funding type, and schedule. Includes national and provincial education metrics and an institution promotion system.
Cuotito — Condominium Management SaaS
Condominium management SaaS for Ecuador that reconciles monthly fees over WhatsApp in under 30 seconds. A multi-bank OCR pipeline (Pichincha, Guayaquil, Produbanco, Pacífico) validates payment receipts, blocks duplicates via SHA-256 fingerprinting and issues numbered official receipts; it also generates the delinquency reports and executive-title settlements required by Executive Decree 462.
Cloud FinOps — AWS + OCI Optimization
Full audit and restructuring of the AWS and OCI cloud footprint. Identification and elimination of underutilized resources, migration to reserved and spot instances, granular cost tagging. Achieved 42% reduction in monthly recurring costs without impacting availability or performance.
